A little bit about me
Hi I'm Aisling!

"We are mosaics - pieces of light, love, history, stars - glued together with magic and music and words." - Anita Krizzan

I’m Aisling (pronounced ash-ling) and I was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland but grew up in the GTA. I love laughing until I’m crying, having fresh eucalyptus in my home, having a glass of red wine while editing, and traveling to new places.

I'm in love with my husband Cameron, and have two sweet daughters, Eloise & Norah, and now our darling son, Simon. In our spare time we love hiking, hanging out in coffee shops & splash pads, checking out breweries, and reading in the park together. But most of all, we love our ordinary ever day moments and all the laughs that entails. My faith in God is important to me and has shown me how strong love really is. Simply put, I love, love. I see love everywhere: in those quiet moments between a mother and her newborn, when a father is running around playing tag with his kids, a bride giving her grandmother a tight squeeze and when a newly engaged couple reminisce about how they first met.

My approach to Photography
& what's important to me

I use a lifestyle approach to photography in order to tell love stories. I'm easy going and laid back and bring an ease to your session. One thing you should know about me, personally, is I do not love being in front of the camera! I often feel awkward, and do not know what to do with my hands, like ever. But, because I know just how that feels, I bring a lot of direction to my sessions pulling from a more natural feel. So if you feel anything like me, know I've got you!

For weddings, I like to keep things natural and capture genuine unique moments. I bring direction when needed, but I am always looking for the moment to unfold. I want to capture your unique love in timeless images. While capturing the momentous occasions throughout the wedding day, I also look for those in-between moments to bring about a genuine story of the whole day. I want you to be able to look back in your wedding album and remember all those moments clearly, like you could step into that very moment and have the feelings rush back to you. For family sessions, I want to capture your family doing what you love and where you love to be, simply put, just being you.
